Adam Brand to Headline Carnival of Cups in Tamworth
Country music superstar Adam Brand will headline Harness Racing New South Wales’ Carnival of Cups entertainment line-up in Tamworth with a free and exclusive Australia Day performance.
Notoriously one of the most highly-sought after acts in the Country music capital, the Carnival of Cups on January 26 will be Adam’s only show on this year’s Tamworth Music Week program.
He will bring his high-energy show to town with full band in tow to headline the third-leg of the new Carnival of Cups schedule.
The multi-award-winning artist will be supported by emerging star Bella Mackenzie, who recently won Australian hearts with her eye-catching performances on The Voice and chart-topping trio Southbound xo.
Bella recently performed trackside at Club Menangle as part of the revamped Breeders Challenge Finals day, while Southbound xo are well known in the Tamworth area after playing in front of more than 9000 fans last year in Bicentennial Park.
Southbound xo have already scored two number 1 singles on the Australian Country Radio Airplay charts and continue to create headlines abroad.
Their performances will complement a landmark race night for the Tamworth Harness Racing Club, with the running of the time-honoured Golden Guitar Final and the newly-created Tamworth Cup.

The Carnival of Cups meeting in Tamworth follows on from a highly successful weekend in Cowra and the upcoming night in Young on 1 December – to be headlined by Australian rock luminaries The Living End.
